We would love to have your help. We run from our own homes in Manurewa and Clarks Beach, South Auckland.

​Some tasks you can help us with could be:

 

• Help with fundraising - Sausage Sizzles, Garage Sales, Pet Expos and more

• Sponsorship - seeking donations from outside agencies, food litter, medical equipment. If you are great at writing letters, business minded and are happy to work with us, let us know.

• Public Relations – liasing with reporters etc for magazine or newspaper items.

• Graphic Design – for posters and flyers

• Organisational skills – mainly for fundraising opportunities. Schools galas, Pet Expos, community events etc.

We love welcoming people into our homes especially when they are going to help us out with cuddling, cleaning and feeding our rescue animals.

 

We also require people to help us transport animals to our vet in Mangere Bridge and pick ups or drop offs of rescue animals.

 

Another way to help is fostering.

Welcoming cats, kittens, dogs, puppies and sometimes other animals into your home and family and preparing them for adoption.Fostering animals in your own home means that many of our cats, kittens, puppies and dogs are used to other dogs, children and noises of everyday living. It is very rewarding seeing sick, injured and malnourished animals flourish in your care. All costs are covered by Hope Rescue.
